The stainless steel sliding gate assembly provides enhanced protection for the lens during operation, helping extend its service life. It also improves safety by allowing maintenance to be performed more securely while the vessel is offline.

These viewports are designed for low-pressure applications (up to 5 PSI) where a full 100% shutoff is not required. The Threaded Gate View Ports utilize a standard gate assembly as the primary threaded component and incorporate a glass lens, gaskets, and retaining rings that are securely held in place with a metal bushing.

Additional cooling can be achieved by incorporating a purge connection on either the glass side or the vessel side of the gate housing. The standard purge location is positioned at the 3 o’clock orientation, with alternate configurations available upon request.
